Solicitor advocate specialising in children, family and domestic violence law
“Originally from West London, I moved to the West Country in January 2002 and have remained ever since as I love living here.
I have been a solicitor for 18 years and I am on the Law Society Children Panel and an Accredited member of Resolution (Children and Co-habitation). I acted for the mother in the Court of Appeal case Re L (children) (care proceedings) 2006 3FCR 301.
I undertake both Private and Public Law Children cases acting for children and parents and other family members.
I also help people in violent or abusive relationships to obtain protective injunction orders through the Courts. I believe that I take a fair but robust approach when representing my clients.
I have been worked for three Somerset firms until embarking on this new venture with my colleagues and I am looking forward to the challenge of building a new niche family law firm in the North Somerset area. I try and obtain Legal Aid wherever possible but if clients are not eligible then I will try and undertake work at reasonable, affordable rates as I believe that Justice should be available for everyone.
I live in Winscombe, North Somerset and in my spare time I like walking my dog, cooking and eating!”
